This Seller Data-Use Policy applies when an independent seller receives buyer, recipient, or order information through Qwik-E-Mart.
Permitted use
Sellers may use personal information only to fulfill and ship the applicable order, communicate about that transaction, provide support, process an authorized return or refund, prevent fraud, comply with law, and maintain required business records.
Prohibited use
Sellers may not sell buyer information; use it for unrelated advertising or marketing; add a buyer to a mailing list without separate valid permission; attempt to move a transaction off-platform; disclose it to an unnecessary party; or use it to profile, discriminate against, harass, or harm a person.
Security and service providers
Sellers must limit access to trained people with a need to know, use reasonable safeguards, and disclose information only to legitimate fulfillment providers bound to protect it. Sellers must promptly notify Qwik-E-Mart at privacy@qwikemart.com of suspected loss, unauthorized access, or misuse and cooperate with investigation and legally required notices.
Retention and deletion
Sellers must securely delete or deidentify information when it is no longer needed for the permitted purposes, except for records they must retain by law. A seller must assist with verified privacy requests and Qwik-E-Mart instructions relating to marketplace data.
Violation may result in access restriction, transaction cancellation, account suspension or termination, indemnity obligations, and other remedies allowed by the seller agreement or law.
