The Nintendo 3DS XL Yoshi Edition is a special-edition handheld system featuring a bright green and white design inspired by Yoshi. The exterior showcases Yoshi holding an egg on the front, with a trail of colorful Yoshi eggs continuing across the back of the system.
The Nintendo 3DS XL features larger screens than the original Nintendo 3DS while retaining glasses-free 3D gameplay, touchscreen controls, built-in Wi-Fi, motion and gyro sensors, and compatibility with Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS games.
Originally released in March 2014 alongside Yoshi’s New Island, the Yoshi Edition combines the larger Nintendo 3DS XL design with one of the system’s distinctive character-themed finishes.
